Add custom fields for resources

Every object in the system has a custom set of defined fields that are installed with the package. To add additional information to your project new fields can be created on any object installed with Arrow.

TIP
Resources are leveraged across the entire Arrow system for planning, forecasting and reporting. The system allows for those areas to be configured to leverage custom information added to the Resource Object related to your resources, so be sure to leverage Date, Picklist, and Checkbox custom fields as often as possible to ensure that data remains structured and can be leveraged in other areas of the system.

ADD NEW RESOURCE FIELDS

1. From the Setup menu navigate to Object Manager > Resource.
2. On the Object’s details page click Field & Relationships.
3. Click the New button.
4. Follow the Salesforce prompts to add a new field to the object.

LIMITATION
Salesforce limits the ability to change custome field definitions that part of an upgradeable package. As such, the field names, API names and other field attributes are not editable in the Arrow PSA package. If you require a field to be renamed as part of your implementation you may add a new custom field to any Arrow PSA object.
